Summer & Fall Rowing
Summer and Fall are the best times to row, whether it is to learn, to improve, or to compete. There is a program for anyone:
NEW TO ROWING?
If you are new to rowing please register for one of our Learn-to-Row classes.
ADULT ROWING:
Experienced adult rowers who know how to row may sign up for a Annual Adult Membership. Adult rowers are then welcome to row with a club boats any time outside of the formal programs. For a small fee, adults may also sign up for a Coached Adult Rowing Program on Wednesdays at 6:30 PM (June, July), 6:00 PM (September), 5:30 PM (October). You my register on the Adult Rowing page.
There is also an Early Morning Masters rowing program when experienced rowers come out to row every weekday from 6:00 AM to 7:30 AM (in July: 5:30 AM to 7:00 AM).
On weekends we will continue to maintain our Open Row program on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM.
COMPETITIVE YOUTH ROWERS PROGRAM:
Required experience: Participants must demonstrate decent rowing technique and a willing attitude and commitment to train.
This program is intended for high school rowers who have at least one year of rowing experience and who are willing to commit to rowing as a competitive sport. Please read here about the expectations for rowers on the Competitive Team.

DEVELOPING YOUTH ROWERS PROGRAM:
Requited experience: Participants must have completed a Learn-to-Row program.
This program is intended for middle school rowers and for high school rowers with less than one year of rowing experience. There will be no regatta participation except for our home race, the Overpeck Summer Sprints Regatta (July 28) and potentially the Head of the Fish Regatta (October 27).
